Stain & Hickory Logs
We are proud to offer stained finish for our rustic hickory log furniture. Our woodworkers artfully select the logs, twigs, and saplings to showcase the natural bark. When staining rustic hickory log furniture, the bark will darken slightly depending on how dark the stain is. Stain choice will be more evident in areas where the bark has been removed. Some examples of this are the points of joinery where the log has been carved down, areas where a branch was removed from the log leaving a natural knot, areas where the bark has been removed from natural occurrences in the wild, and the armrests, which have been craved to create a flat resting place. A clear coat is applied after the staining process to lock in color and protect furniture from everyday use.
