Sarasota, Fla./LaGrange, Ind. – DutchCrafters Amish Furniture, the leading retailer of Amish furniture at www.dutchcrafters.com, recently presented the Mortise and Tenon Award to two outstanding employees: Samantha Ammeson, based at the company’s Sarasota headquarters, and Tracie Richter, who works from the DutchCrafters warehouse in LaGrange, Indiana.

The Mortise and Tenon Award, introduced in 2022 by DutchCrafters Founder and CEO Jim Miller, recognizes employees who provide essential behind-the-scenes support.

“Mortise and tenon joinery is extremely strong—stronger than the wood itself. It’s often unseen, yet absolutely essential to the structure of finely crafted furniture. The same is true of these employees. Their work may not always be visible, but it’s foundational to our success.” said Miller during the ceremony.

Samantha Ammeson, a Marketplace Optimization Specialist, joined DutchCrafters in 2020. She ensures accurate product presentation across e-commerce platforms, optimizes products across the DutchCrafters’ Amazon store, and maintains a 97% seller score while managing inventory, data, and customer service.

Tracie Richter, a Fulfillment Coordinator since 2021, plays a crucial role in ensuring orders are shipped efficiently from the LaGrange warehouse. Tracie’s attention to detail, speed, and care ensure that customers receive their orders on time and in perfect condition.

The Mortise and Tenon Award is part of DutchCrafters’ broader culture of recognition, which includes year-round celebrations of employee milestones, peer-nominated awards, and an annual staff awards event.
