DutchCrafters, the leading retailer of Amish furniture at www.dutchcrafters.com, recognized Showroom Furniture Specialist Lori Voelkel with the Showroom Sales Top Producer Award for the second consecutive year at the company’s annual staff awards celebration.

Showroom Operations Manager Heather Anderson presented the 2023 award. She credited Voelkel’s dedication, commitment and ability to understand the unique needs of each customer and tailor solutions that exceed expectations. Her efforts have demonstrated success by keeping customers happy, driving sales and fortifying DutchCrafters’ reputation in the community as a trusted partner in heirloom furniture design.

Anderson said, “What sets Lori apart is her impressive sales results and her collaborative spirit. She serves as an inspiration to her coworkers, personifying DutchCrafters’ core values of creativity, authenticity, giving, excellence and sustainability.”

Often, new customers are surprised by so many choices available in DutchCrafters’ showrooms and design centers. Voelkel says it is her top priority to assist and advise customers throughout this exciting creative process.

“When customers come into the showroom,” said Voelkel, “they see many options: the choice of woods, stains, styles, functions and fabrics. They realize this truly is a design center that makes it easier to decide what works best for them. As furniture specialists, we help them visualize their heirloom pieces, going step by step through the options until they see the piece come to life. It’s my favorite part of the job to listen to customers’ furniture needs and preferences, then help them bring it all together and create the piece or set that is uniquely theirs.”

Voelkel’s individual success as well as her contribution to the collective effort helped propel the showroom team and company forward in 2023.
