For the second consecutive year, JMX Brands is a Best Place to Work in Sarasota-Manatee. The parent company of the largest online retailer of Amish furniture at www.dutchcrafters,com was ranked by the Sarasota Herald Tribune at No. 21 out of 28 local businesses in Sarasota and Manatee counties.

JMX Brands CEO Jim Miller said despite temporarily working remotely, the staff “remained engaged, learning and growing.”

The company hired a record breaking 11 full-time employees in the third quarter of 2021, bringing the total number of full-time employees to 74. 

“While I am grateful that we offer meaningful employment to a growing number of people, I am even more gratified by the professional growth that I see in so many of the JMX Brands staff,” said Miller. “JMX Brands remains a Best Place to Work because of our employees.”

The Best Places to Work competition is a survey dedicated to identifying the best employers in the Sarasota-Manatee area, while also providing businesses with insightful feedback from employees. The process is conducted by Best Companies Group (BCG), an independent research firm that conducts surveys across the globe. 

To be considered for the award, businesses must submit a questionnaire outlining company policies, practices, benefits, and demographics.
