JMX Brands employee Alex Miller was one of the 20 Under 35 award recipients honored at the annual convention of the Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA) on November 5, 2015 in Richmond, Va.

MEDA’s 20 Under 35 award recognizes young professionals in North America who embody an entrepreneurial spirit and embrace a desire to make a difference in the world.

Miller has been involved with MEDA in several ways including working for the Sarasota (Fla.) Chapter of MEDA, serving as MEDA’s student representative at Eastern Mennonite University (EMU), and sitting on the board of the Shenandoah Valley Chapter while studying economics at EMU in Harrisonburg, Va. Additionally, Miller has been an important member of the marketing staff at JMX Brands, a Mennonite-owned specialty ecommerce retailer with its flagship store, www.DutchCrafters.com, that sells Amish-made furniture online. When JMX Brands was unsatisfied with the vendor managing its search engine advertising, a staple of its advertising initiatives as an ecommerce business, Miller took on the challenge and brought its ROI to more than 400 percent this year, helping fuel the continued growth of the company.
