Overview
Sustainability is a critical factor when considering the design and crafting of hardwood furniture. The designers of the Big Creek collection aimed to honor nature by utilizing materials that are sourced responsibly.
Hickory twigs are used for the base of the Big Creek Coffee Table. Hickory is known for its structural stability but also has an impressive regeneration rate. A hickory sapling used for crafting furniture will regrow within 3-5 years. On top of structural advantage, the hickory twig lumber provides beautiful eye appeal with its exposed bark and natural characteristics. Each piece is unique, creating a one-of-a-kind base with each Big Creek Coffee Table.
The Big Creak collection sports a natural live edge across the entirety of the tabletop. Natural characteristics like knots, sap lines, and grain patterns are reminders of this coffee table's organic beginnings. For the tabletop wood, select between brown maple and walnut wood. Each wood type provides a smooth tabletop with striking character. The Brown maple will excel with a stain containing red pigments, while walnut's natural beauty is highlighted by lighter tones.
