Overview
This farmhouse table is Amish handcrafted from beautiful barn wood. Our barn wood is locally sourced in Pennsylvania where the Amish woodworker lives. The barn wood is generally yellow pine but sometimes it can be hemlock or fir. Longleaf heart pine wood is a popular pine used in the construction of old barns and warehouses in the United States. We do not offer the option of selecting the type of barn wood used in the construction.
Our customers love imagining the history of the barn that was used in the construction of their new dining tables. Please be aware that barn wood has the appearance of distressed new wood. You have to be comfortable with the aged look of the old wood, cracks, nail holes that can be filled or unfilled as well as other natural features like water marks. All of these features some would think of as defects but others think of tale tell marks of years gone past, harvests, storms and families working together on a farm.
Our barn wood dining tables are a popular choice for restaurants and resorts that want a unique, one of a kind look. Please call for pricing on volume barn wood dining tables. We offer trade discounts and have contract sales associates that are happy to help you with your LEED credits as well.
You don't have to live on a farm to order a farmhouse dining table. This dining table style is a popular choice for city folks too.
