For centuries, fine furniture enthusiasts have known that the best desks, cabinets, and hutches seamlessly combine utility with beauty. To achieve that goal, the Luxury Office Collection blends form with function, for the art of it.

Since its beginning in 2002, this family-owned business has been led by a master craftsman with a passion for building original designs. The goal to create jobs for family and local woodworkers is shared by his wife, family and community.

In 2010, the growth of the business required more space. So, they erected a new structure that is four times the size of the original woodshop.

Today, the second generation of Amish craftsmen continue working side-by-side with like-minded craftsmen from the local community in the rolling hills of rural Ohio. The area is surrounded by the natural beauty of fertile farms and oxygen-producing woodlands—a forest that has increased in size by some 3,000 trees in recent years. The continued growth of the forest alongside the Amish furniture business stems from the commitment to reforestation efforts and giving back to the environment and community.

Great furniture starts with great wood—only the finest quality North American hardwoods (oak, cherry, brown maple, hickory, walnut, and tiger maple) will do. No particle board or medium density fibreboard (MDF) is used. The wood’s appearance, color, strength and grain pattern must meet the craftsmen’s expectations for each variety of wood to ensure that the customers’ expectations are met or exceeded.

Skilled craftsmen transform the finest wood into fine furniture. Woodworkers are individually trained so the tradition of quality Amish craftsmanship is upheld. The result is beautiful, durable Amish furniture that is built to last.

Fine Quality Starts with Solid Construction

Every piece of furniture is built to last with no details overlooked. For example, drawers glide easily and stay sturdy over the years due to precise construction using the best, time-proven connection joints for that piece—including dovetail, mortise and tenon, tongue and groove, and mitered joints.

Special three-step sanding process used by craftsmen at Luxury Office Collection ensures the silkiest, smoothest surface possible for applying stain. Hand-rubbed finishing touches are all done by hand to ensure the even coat stain of a master craftsman. The pre-catalyzed varnish used gives the wood’s surface a lustrous glow that is tough enough to resist damage from spills.
